Kristy L. Andrews is an artist living in Northport, Alabama. Growing up in a family of creatives, she always dreamed of being an artist. She would paint with her grandfather in his studio and watch in amazement as his brush would dance across the surface. The sound of music playing in the background as he sang along. Some of the best moments of her life were spent in her grandfather's studio or at her grandparents' house on the weekends. Playing dressup in her grandmother's clothes, beads and clip-on earrings has been the inspiration behind the ladies that Kristy loves to paint. She says she can still smell the perfumed powder floating through the air as filled the puff up. After, sher would put on rouge and bright red lipstick, a dress and pumps and clonk across the hardwood floors before heading to the dining room to paint again. Painting. It's all she ever wanted to do. There was never any other plan or desire to do or be anything else. Not only was Kristy inspired by her grandpa, father and uncle, who were all very artistic, but also the other artists she was surrounded by growing up.

It wasn't until the pandemic that Kristy began painting more and decided she would take a chance and open an Etsy shop. This eventually led to creating her own website and licensing her artwork across the world. Today you can find her artwork in galleries, shops and sold by major retailers.

Kristy's artwork is heavily influenced by life experiences and the beauty of nature. She loves painting florals, landscapes, ladies, animals and everything in between. Her medium of choice is acrylic paints, and often uses other mediums while creating. Kristy uses big expressive brushstrokes and bold happy colors. She loves the thought that her work could bring a smile to someone's face or brighten their day.

When Kristy is not painting or helping her father operate Picture This Inc. (the custome frame shop her grandmother opened in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1970), she enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband Billy, their 2 children Emma Kate, Ethan and his wife Brooke.
